A Letter from the Office
“Never look down to test the ground before taking the next step; only he who keeps his eye fixed on the far horizon will find the right road” – Dag Hammerskjold.
As we embark on a new journey with the challenges and threats of a third wave of Covid 19, we must keep our chin up and face the horizon. I have the privilege to work with a very motivated staff, competent SGB, involved parents and talented children. Together we can accomplish so much.
Congratulations on this new venture “Plettenberg Bay Primary SCOOP”. Just another feather in the cap of the dedicated School Governing Body under leadership of Mimi van Huyssteen. We look forward to the next three years!
As we return to full capacity with the grade 6 and grade 7 learners and slowly open sport and cultural activities, we must realise that we are increasing the risk of infection. We plead with parents to caution their children on safety protocols – even when nobody is watching!
Congratulations to all our learners who participated and excelled in different sport activities during the first term. You make us proud! The activities this term will include Hockey, Rugby, Netball and Choir. Show us what you’ve got!
A big “Thank you!” to all the parents that honour their commitment to the school. With our feet planted on the earth and the sun in our faces, we will take on every challenge that comes our way.
